There is an understanding that comes from walking ancient landscapes. Connecting sites and approaching on foot rather than by roads. Walking and reading the lands. Making connections. Weaving threads across the ancient landscape.

Another level to this is speaking the ancient names of the sites whilst visiting. Words make worlds. We have found learning the Kernewek words for the sites that surround us so helpful in understanding the places we love so much. Place names give such a sense of times past; connecting the ancient with the present (and maybe also the future!)

In order to help bring this to life further, we are introducing our first ever Stone Club Language lessons!

As we are based in Cornwall / Kernow we thought we should start here with Kernewek.
