Orbury Common present Stone Serenades
The dawn has broken, and the Traditional Dance is done. A group of revellers lay sprawled around a floating, globular stone phallus. Orbs babble, and a cry goes up from one of the waking cult: a signal for the morning’s reparations to start, inevitably and irrevocably accompanied by lilting chants, songs and airs, all passed down from daughter to father, sister to son.
