Manorbier 2002 from two perspectives; Dad was on the beach filming us while Mum took a close-up photograph on top of the King's Quoit Cromlech. A real-life diptych, expanded cinema in the flesh.
Mum recently sent me a load of photos taken in and around Tenby from when we were younger. It reminded me how connected memory and place are and how much that genealogy influences your mindset. I love mine and my brother’s matching sandals and am proud to have shared my Wolves affiliation at such a young age. A return to the King’s Quoit Cromlech is a must in the future; I can’t wait to go back and I’ll make sure I film it again, hopefully capturing the landscape as amazingly as my Dad did 20 years ago.
